Branding AAPI Montclair's largest event!
AAPI Montclair is a 501(c)3 nonprofit representing Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders and families in the Montclair, NJ area and across New Jersey. It is a brave space to share experiences and help unify our voices to create action and representation for our communities.
In 2021, I was comissioned to brand their Diwali event, bringing in 800 people and over $15,000.
Diwali, the Indian the festival of lights, is celebrated by millions around the world, and for many, it is considered the beginning of the New Year, often coinciding with harvest celebrations in many countries. Diwali marks new beginnings, the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness.
This font pairing was used everywhere, I created the flame "O" by hand.
